THANKS #WTW!

Last week’s #WorkTruckWeek pulled into the Indianapolis Convention Center for its annual shin dig and our man FLD Frank and TeamFLD were on hand to mingle with customers, partners and friends at our brand new exhibit space:

  •  While official show stats have yet to be released, general consensus is that attendance seemed slightly off from the last few years (though official numbers can often be mis-leading as the show floor is opened to anyone who wants to attend during certain times.) 
  •  That said, attendees — including our own crew of 9 — felt the quality of interactions was high, and discussions as meaningful and productive as any year past. 
  •  The more than 500 companies that exhibited at this year’s conference jockeyed for notice with #WorkTruckWeek organizers pointing to no fewer than 60 press conferences held during the conference. Highlights included new medium duty solutions from Cummins; the new EPQ ecosystem from Vanair; and a just-released Knapheide campaign honoring American workers. 
  •  Several trips around the show floor showed that while there were plenty of “shiny objects” to catch one’s attention, most savvy observers felt there was little in the way of breakthrough innovations or truly game-changing introductions at this year’s conference. 
  •  One exception was the introduction of the new Ram City Master, which garnered considerable buzz from our customer advisors, as well as many other show attendees who stopped by our booth. 
  •  While there was much chatter about AI by both attendees and exhibitors, there was very little in the way of specifics as to exactly how it will benefit the industry. 
  •  As we do every year, TeamFLD enjoyed showing up, showing out and generally having a great time telling our story of risk free remarketing. That included a special night of food, fun and sports in the VIP suite at the Indiana Pacers game with over 25 of our Customer Advisory Board members and special invitees.
