CEO Ron Sanders and Director of Business Development Carol Fowler took the FLD booth to the first ever Hospitality Show in Las Vegas and enlightened the industry on the virtues of selling used vehicles in one simple, risk-free transaction as opposed to waiting weeks or months for them to sell at auction. Our man FLD Frank was there to get all the scoop!

  • CEO Ron Sanders and Director of Business Developmen Carol Fowler manned the FLD booth at the recent Hospitality Show at the beautiful Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas and – as usual – FLD Frank has all the scoop!
  • This was the Hospitality Show’s inaugural year and the event featured more than 3,500 attendees – and over 300 exhibitors – showcasing everything from service robots to AI to furniture and bedding (I saw a double king mattress I really liked…)
  • Everyone we spoke with seemed excited, engaged and genuinely happy to be together, and the event included intriguing keynotes, impressive entertainment and amazing food (and we were glad to be a part of the festive event atmosphere!)
  • Our team was surprised to learn that the vast majority of folks we met had no idea that a service like vehicle remarketing even existed (but a lot of them seemed glad we do!)
  • Some of the more notable things we observed included the EV ride and drive featuring 19 different EV’s, Knapheide’s 175th anniversary booth, and the sold out Green Truck Summit, with nearly 1000 attendees.
  • Several hospitality providers told us that they are downsizing their shuttle fleets in response to guest preference for ride share services (and immediately recognized that FLD’s ability to purchase used vehicles upfront can help them meet their goals.)
  • Interestingly enough, we met people from lots of companies that we have worked with before, so it was great to put faces with names (as the old saying goes!)
